When Evysca went into bankruptcy, they were absorbed by the Figueres establishment Industrias Fita, who were one of their biggest creditors. Fita took on the outstanding assets and the tooling etc and created M.A.F. (Motores Articulados Fita) as a brand for producing and marketing the Evysca based motorcycles.
The new MAF brand were built from 1958 until 1964 but initially still carried the Evycsa name. They targeted the economic and tourist market with 150cc and 175cc models powered by the Fita-AMC, four stroke engines built at Figueres under licence. They had planned to manufacture a 250cc model designed by Evycsa but, in the end, it was not built.

Industrias Fita could trace its history back to 1832 and was a significant employer within Figueres. Initially known for agricultural equipment, the company had attempted to break into the car manufacturing industry but without sucess.
The subsequent MAF motorcycles were powered by an engine developed in‑house, inspired by the 175 cc AMC engines previously produced under licence. This allowed FITA to reduce costs and modify the design without external approval. Unlike other Figueres‑based manufacturers, which originated from the local bicycle industry, some MAF components were sourced from Barcelona. The motorcycles were produced in 175 cc and 150 cc versions.
In 1960, during Spain’s National Stabilisation Plan, motorcycle sales declined sharply. Manufacturers responded in different ways. Fita chose to refocus on its most reliable and profitable products—its well‑known irrigation engines. As a result, MAF motorcycles disappeared from the market in the early 1960s, following the fate of many Spanish brands, as consumers increasingly opted for the affordable SEAT 600 instead of two‑wheeled vehicles.
