SER (Pamplona 1956-1962)

The French Establishments Louis Serouge were based at 6-8 Rue Deguingand in Levallois-Perret, in the Seine département of France, having been founded by Louis Serouge in 1938 as a manufacturer of machinery to produce tools, aeronautical parts and electric pumps.

In 1949, he was licensed by Garelli to manufacture Mosquito engines for the Chapius Brothers of Neuilly but, from 1953, he started to produce his own single-cylinder 48cc single-gear engines and then 65cc 2-speed engines, both with Dell’Orto carburettor and 2-stroke.

This 65cc SER is in the Team Lazpiur Collection at Bergara, Gipuzkoa.

The Orbaiceta brothers left moped assembly in 1962 and created the SuperSer brand to manufacture household appliances.
