Jover y Carreras S.L (JOverY CArreras), was a small enterprise with workshops in Mahon, on the Spanish island of Moinorca. Here they manufactured small marine engines for the local wooden fishing boats. In the late 1940s they diversified and started producing an auxiliary engine for mounting on to bicycles above the rear wheel.

The engines were a two stroke, 51cc, (38mm x 45mm) with ignition via a Magneti Marelli magnetic flywheel and the power output was approximately 0.6 CV. The earliest engines had the cylinder and cylinder head in one piece although the later version had them separately mounted.

The total production between 1948 and 1952 was estimated at 800 units. This rare example is on display at the Museu de la Moto – Bassella.
