Very little is documented or known about the Avispa. The Avispa (Wasp) was a light motorcycle (classified as a moped, according to the nomenclature of the time) handcrafted somewhere in the province of Valencia in the early 1950s.
It was equipped with an air cooled, 98cc, two stroke, single-cylinder engine which was probably produced “in house”. The frame is of the simple cradle type with suspension front and rear and a 2-speed gearbox.

The bike in the photographs is the only known example and is on display at at the Museo de la Motocicleta Española 28802 Alcalá de Henares (Madrid)
